Barry M. Putt, Jr. - Dramatic Writer
Barry's plays have been performed in California, Florida, Maine, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and British Columbia, Canada. His comedy A Different Blend of Friendship won the New Jersey Wordsmith Competition and received an AEA staged reading at The Northeast Theatre. Barry is a staff writer for Colonial Radio Theatre on the Air! and for KSVR's audio-drama series entitled "Radio Theater Project." He served as head writer on the episodic, comedy-horror, TV show In the Cellar. Barry won a silver Telly Award for his work on the TV series The Wisdom Tree. Other television shows Barry has written for include the hour-long drama, Redemption. His short-film scripts Departures and The Long Haul were produced by Running Fountain Productions. Barry's feature-length screenplay Hope Mountain is in development with Oookic Productions. He received a degree in Dramatic Writing from NYU. Barry is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, the American Renaissance Theater Company, and Passage Theatre's Playwrights Lab.
