Barry M. Putt, Jr. - Dramatic Writer
Barry’s plays have been performed throughout the U.S. and in Canada and the United Arab Emirates. They include “Triangle” and “The Porch” at the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival and “The Lollipop Lady” and “Dead Body” by Turtle Shell Productions. His comedy, “A Different Blend of Friendship” won the New Jersey Wordsmiths Award. Barry is a staff writer for Colonial Radio Theatre and KSVR's audio-drama series "Radio Theater Project" where he has scripted over 30 adaptations and original productions. He served as head writer on the episodic, comedy-horror, TV show In the Cellar and won a silver Telly Award for his work on the TV series The Wisdom Tree. His feature-length VR film Maren’s Rock was produced by Daniel Gaucher and PKVR. Running Fountain Productions produced his short-film scripts Departures and The Long Haul. Barry received a degree in Dramatic Writing from NYU and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, the American Renaissance Theater Company, and the Witherspoon Circle.

Barry will facilitating a panel discussion entitled "Modern Audio-Drama Writing" at the 2018 National Dramatists Guild Conference in July. He is available to present at conferences on writing for stage, screen, audio-drama, TV writing, and marketing approaches. For more information, please email.
