When his father is killed for supporting independence, young Dan Slater is thrust into the heart of the revolution. Determined to carry on his father's legacy, he joins General George Washington's forces in the fight against the British Crown. Through disguises, espionage, and open combat, Dan risks everything in daring missions behind enemy lines and in battles that test loyalty, courage, and friendship. Blending epic history with intimate human drama, the series reimagines the birth of America as a modern myth: not only the story of a nation being forged, but a powerful tale of courage, love, and a hard-won dream.
